Wow, It has been a minute since I’ve been on here but I finally have a few weeks before my next travels and had some time so I thought I would hop on here and say Hi! I promise this time I am here to stay, you can guys can find me on here more often posting a lot more content not just about travel but also beauty and food- YAY!
Usually when I am in between salon visits I find myself, hating my hair Whenever I have to go out or go on a trip I rush to get my hair done and spend hundreds of dollars but I am so happy I found L’Oréal Paris Magic Root Cover Up and I thought I have to try it. I don’t usually try new products just like that but L’Oréal has some amazing hair products and so i thought why not. Of course, this won’t solve your problems if you are looking for highlights or a baliyage but it’s a god send if you are trying to conceal your roots and especially greys. I have a few pesky greys that really bother me so this was perfect! At first, I was very skeptical but here is my take on it.
What is the price?
You can find the L’ Oréal Magic Root Cover up spray and the Magic Root Concealer Precision Brush around the $10 mark which is a total steal. These days its hard to even find decent shampoo for that price so I was pleasantly surprised.
How do you apply it?
Its pretty easy, you have to shake well and then start spraying. It is recommended to spray about 10 cm away from the roots. It’s also important that you spray on dry hair not wet! Once you spray you will notice it dries fairly quickly and leaves no sticky residue!
The precision brush is even easier, all you have to do is twist and apply it on the strands directly.
I would recommend the spray for larger areas that need to be concealed. The brush is for the in between stages or if you have scattered grey hairs that need concealing. Overall I think it is a great product for a quick fix, its perfect to use when on the go or going for a night out, business meetings etc. The texture is not gooey, it dries pretty fast, does not leave any residue and it lasts until you shampoo so its win win! This also comes in 7 different shades which is great.
To be honest, I also tried this on my mom because she constantly has to dye her hair every month to cover up her pesky greys and it’s usually me who gets stuck doing it. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem in helping her but its using the box dye and the whole process that really gets to me, it’s just so messy and very damaging not to mention she usually does it very last minute right before she has somewhere to go. So naturally, when I saw the L’Oréal Paris the first thing I thought of was her. Since then she has tried it a few times and loves it- It’s the perfect fix she says because as a woman in her late 50’s her greys come out pretty quick and dying her hair every month isn’t the best option.
